Hop Tea Bag – Willamette T90 Hop Pellets – 20g
Willamette, the triploid daughter of Fuggle, was released as a U.S. aroma variety in 1976 from the U.S.D.A. breeding program in Oregon. The variety is characterized by a low alpha acids content, mild aroma similar to Fuggle and medium cone yields. It is more difficult to grow than most varieties; however, it is still widely grown in all U.S. growing areas where it has largely replaced Fuggle.
Finishing Hops
Get Er Brewed finishing hops are a simple way to add a fresh aroma and taste to your beer kit. They can be used by dry hopping ( simply add the infusion bag straight to the wort) or late hopping (placing the bag into hot water to make a hop tea which is then poured into the wort).
Each pack contains 20 grams of hop pellets in a easy to use infusion bag.
Aroma Characteristics
Willamette, is named after the valley of the same name in northeast Oregon, this hop is a daughter variety of Fuggles and was developed in Oregon as part of the USDA breeding program. It has been released as a US aroma variety since 1976. The cultivar is characterized by a low alpha content and a mild aroma that is similar in its main features to that of the Fuggles. While Willamette is more difficult to grow than most hop varieties, it is widespread across all US growing areas.
