Souvenir de Cassis is a barrel-aged blackcurrant saison from Our Brewery, built around dryness, balance, and fermentation character rather than overt fruit sweetness.

About the Beer

Brewed as a saison and matured over extended time, this beer was aged for 21 months in Moscatel barrels before being transferred onto blackcurrants for a further three months. It was then bottle conditioned and rested until carbonation reached the right level.

Blackcurrant adds depth and subtle tannin rather than sweetness, integrating fully with the dry saison base and gentle oak influence. The result is a composed, food-friendly beer with fruit character that supports the structure rather than dominating it.
