GEB Wheat Flakes

Wheat Flakes are flattened grains of chit wheat malt. Chit malt is produced from steeped wheat germinated for a very short period and then lightly kilned.

Chit wheat malt flakes are essentially raw barley that has been barely malted and retains many of the characteristics of raw wheat. It promotes foam formation, head retention and stability in beer. The flakes can be added directly into the mash.
