The duotight 6.35mm (1/4") Screwlock × 8mm (5/16") Reducer Elbow gives you a secure, right‑angle transition between 1/4" rigid ports and 8mm EVABarrier tubing. One side features a standard 8mm duotight push‑fit port, while the other uses a compression‑style Screwlock designed specifically for 6.35mm (1/4") rigid fittings — perfect for tight spaces, rigid manifolds, or equipment requiring a reinforced connection.
As part of the Generation 2 duotight range, this reducer elbow is built from high‑performance Polyketone (POK) for superior strength, chemical resistance, and UV stability. The upgraded design also includes colour‑coded collets, gauge depth indicators, and a burst pressure rating over 300 psi.
Like all duotight fittings, it uses the signature double O‑ring sealing system, giving you twice the sealing surface of standard push‑fit connectors. This means tighter hose bends, fewer leak points, and long‑term reliability across gas and clean‑liquid applications.
No clamps are required — simply cut your EVABarrier line straight, push it in, and enjoy a secure, gas‑tight seal rated up to 100 psi. To remove, press the collet in and pull the line out.

We do recommend cutting your hosing straight, not on an angle, to ensure the line has a complete seal. To remove the fitting simply push in the collet and the hose can be removed. These push in fittings are suitable to be used up to 100 psi
These push in fittings have been engineered for maximised performance in both gas and liquid applications. Compared to other push in fittings on the market, duotight takes the double safety approach to all of the connections with two EPDM o-rings per hose port. No other push ins on the market have EPDM o-rings, let alone two! per push in connection.

Weight Limits:
The weight limit is 30kg for DPD and 70kg for DHL, either by volumetric or actual, whichever is greater. (Remember, a large packing box weighs 1kg of that total weight).
For products or orders over these weights, the PALLET SHIPPING option is available.
