Summit® is a dwarf high alpha variety bred by the American Dwarf Hop Association and released in 2003. This hop variety has an unusually high alpha acid content, excellent storage stability and powdery mildew resistance.

2019 Summit® can be described as a walk through the vegetable patch with abundant leek and celery. Beyond this vegetable cloud, there is also some fruitiness, like white wine grapes and herbs like oregano and fennel.

Aroma Characteristics

Summit® displays green, vegetal and spicy components such as tomato leaves, onion, aniseed and marjoram, and woody notes of incense and sulphur. Citrus elements such as grapefruit, fruity cassis and floral lily-of-the-valley subtly round off the overall picture.

Weight Limits:

The weight limit is 30kg for DPD and 70kg for DHL, either by volumetric or actual, whichever is greater. (Remember, a large packing box weighs 1kg of that total weight).
