Sorachi Ace T90 Hop Pellets / Japan / 2021 / AA: 13.2%

First being bred by the Sapporo Brewery in Hokkaido, Japan in the 1980s, with Saaz and Brewer's Gold in the background. It wasn't grown anywhere until Darren Gamache claimed it from the USDA archives. It was commercially released in 2006 after

Parents are Saaz, Brewer's Gold and BeiKei No. 2. Striking Lemon character, a bold hop for bold beers.

Use in brewing: Dual purpose hop.
This hop has a lemon citrus flavour with hints of orange and dill.
Substitutions: None
Agronomics: This hop has a fairly low yield at only 1100-1400 kg/ha.
