An early ripening and productive grape originated in France and is now widely grown in many areas, including California and Northern Italy. The grape produces a rich, fruity, non-astringent wine that, because of its softness, is often blended with many of the world's finest Cabernet Sauvignons, such as Bordeaux.

Characteristics: Firm to soft and slightly fruity.

Appropriate Foods: Light red meats and game such as duck.

Kit Contents: The kit contains a pouch of Merlot grape concentrate, yeast, wine stabilizer, and finings to make clear wine. It also has easy-to-follow instructions for winemaking.
No Added Sugar Required: The grape juice concentrate has all the necessary sugar.
Volume and Alcohol Content: The kit makes 5 gallons (22.5 litres) of wine, which yields about 30 bottles of delicious wine with around 12.5% ABV.
Kit Size: 30-bottle kit contains 7.5 litres of premium grape concentrate.
Ageing and Maturation: You can enjoy the wine young or let it age and improve over time if you can wait.

Sachet Ingredients: Yeast, Finings (Crustacion), Preservative (E223 and E202 Sulphites)
Some kits will contain extras like Oak Chips and or Bentonite.
